Uploading a schedule to PC.o, and reading what it says about it. The Guide notes that the schedule does most of the work.

Begin in Files. The Files menu holds Add Folder and Upload File. A folder first keeps things tidy. Type a name, notes if you like, then Continue. Name it for the project, not the weekday.

Open the folder, then Files, then Upload File. Choose the file and press Upload. You need not say what kind it is.

PC.o takes Primavera P6 as XER or XML, one project or several per file, and Microsoft Project as MPP, XML or MPX. Excel schedules too, with their own entry. And a zip: any number of the above in one archive; upload it, and each file is split out and imported.

Or skip the menu: drag the file onto the grid. It lands in whichever folder you are in. The row appears with a spinner. The analysis runs by itself; while it does, open a finished one.

In the Example folder, double-click a schedule. Or open the row's menu and choose Analysis. Both doors lead to the same room.

The dashboard opens on Overview: first date, data date, last date, and the schedule's status at a glance. Critical metrics, float, milestones, and the fourteen-point DCMA assessment, a standard integrity check, each in its tile.

Cost: budgets, actuals, performance, and the cashflow curve, drawn from the costs the schedule carries. Details lists them all: more than a hundred analysis points, each with an eye and a cloud.

Click the eye and that one table opens online; the cloud exports just that sheet. Reports, top right, exports it all as Excel or Word, or as the standard Word-based DCMA report.

Custom reports exist too, where you build a report of your own. That is another video. Print Dashboard saves the Overview as a PDF, for the meeting that still wants paper.

And from the Files list, Analysis (Excel) downloads the full workbook without opening anything.

That was uploading and analysing a schedule. Next in the Guide: comparing two schedules, to see what changed.
