The grid shows what you ask it to. Here are columns, views, sorting, filters, and finding one activity in a thousand.
Two chips say what the grid is showing: which columns, and which saved view, if any. View, Columns. Presets on top; columns you can add on the left; what you see on the right.
A preset is a starting point: Costs brings the money columns in one press. Custom lets you pick: move a column across, then set its place with the arrows.
Save as view keeps the set under a name. It is yours, for this schedule. The chip now names it. Switch views, and the grid follows.
Views lists yours, for this schedule only. Sharing one with the schedule is not here yet. Late-date bars add a strip under each bar, from late start to late finish.
Click a header to sort. Inside the WBS, children sort under their parent; the structure stays. Open View and untick WBS for a flat list.
One list, no groups: every activity in one order. In View, choose File order to drop the sort.
File order forgets the sort and lists them as the file had them, level by level. Filter: Critical only, a status, one WBS branch, one owner.
Critical only leaves the chain that sets the finish. Status filters by progress. Here, nothing has started, so Not started keeps every row.
WBS branch keeps one part of the tree: choose Steel, and its activities stay under their parents. Type in Find activities. Filter to matches hides the rest.
Matches stay under their parents: here, the Steel group and the project row. Clear filters, and every row is back.
Deleting a view asks first: Delete confirms, and there is no undo.
That was the grid. Next in the Guide: the chart beside it — zoom, logic lines, printing, and the pop-out you send.
