Some settings belong to the schedule, some to you. Here is where each one lives, and what it does.

Schedule, Schedule options: everything that changes how this schedule runs. Five sections: the run, the engine's block, the project, the other engine's greyed block, and, below, the display.

Fixed waits for Schedule now, F9. Auto reschedules after every change. Simple mode is always Auto. Analysis reruns decides when PC.o's reports catch up with your edits: on demand, when you leave, or never.

Duration display: days or hours. Nothing changes but the way it reads. Save, and the grid speaks hours: five days becomes forty hours.

Dates the way your team reads them, with or without the time. Entry stays month, day, year. The grid follows at once: the same dates, now year, month, day.

Details view: a pop-up or a bottom pane. Follow engine picks the one that suits the engine. The engine's own block: how progressed activities reschedule, which calendar a lag uses, what counts as critical.

In Full mode, Details has Show only what is set: empty sections fold to one line. View is yours: what you see in this browser, not the schedule itself.

Row height: compact for a long list, comfortable for reading. Activity calendars shades each activity's own non-working days, instead of the project calendar's.

Timescale, from week by days to half-year: pick the one that fits the job. The i button folds the header, for more rows on a small screen, and brings the details back.

Folded, the details strip is gone, and the grid gets the room. The status bar keeps the engine and the run mode in view: Advanced engine, Fixed, F9.

One more: Set data date. Not a preference — a move. The engine schedules remaining work from there.

That was the settings. Next in the Guide: columns and views, sorting, filtering, and finding an activity.
