A Basic plan reads every schedule in your Files as a chart. Here is what the viewer does, and where the Scheduler add-on begins.
Every schedule row has a Gantt icon. Click it and the chart opens in its own tab. The grid on the left, the bars on the right, the menus above. Find activities as you type.
Select an activity, press Details: its dates, then Advanced for float, Predecessors and Successors. View holds the logic lines, the WBS, row height, and a timescale from weeks to half-years.
With the lines on, you can follow a chain from one bar to the next. Filter keeps Float ≤ 0, the longest path, or one status. Clear filters undoes it.
Columns picks what the grid shows. The viewer remembers your choice in this browser. Export offers Excel Gantt, a 3-week look-ahead, and Print to PDF.
The look-ahead starts at the data date and runs three weeks. Change the dates, pick the fields, download. Print to PDF asks for orientation and page size, then opens the print dialog: choose Save as PDF.
Viewing is in your plan. New schedule is locked until you add the Scheduler: the next entry.
That was the viewer. Next in the Guide: adding the Scheduler to a Basic account, and what it unlocks.
